We partner with Cardinia Shire Council in this valuable and satisfying initiative.
This free program shows residents how to plant a garden that attracts wildlife and improves its habitat.
How does the CEC get involved?
Some CEC members and many other enthusiastic community members have volunteered to be Gardens for Wildlife Assessors. We go out, on invitation, and help locals create a low-maintenance, drought tolerant garden that will provide habitat for wildlife. If you live in Cardinia Shire and think you would like to have a Garden for Wildlife assessment for your garden or property, register on Cardinia Shire Council’s website and a friendly and passionate volunteer will visit and help.
